The syllabus is derived from ICAO recommendations, standards derived from CAP 700 and also NVQ underpinning knowledge requirements.

 

For each course completed satisfactorily, students receive an individual certificate of achievement.

 

 

City & Guilds

Successful completion of any of these courses enables you to pass the City and Guilds examinations in each specialist area.

 

City & Guilds qualifications are recognised across the world

 

 

National Vocation Qualifications (NVQs)

By completing the course you will also have covered the underpinning technical knowledge for NVQs in:

 

Controlling Aircraft Operations

 

Controlling Airport Operations

 

Controlling Aircraft Payloads

 

of course, you will still be required to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding to your NVQ assessor as part of your NVQ portfolio. The awarding body for Aviation NVQs is EMTA Awards Limited (EAL).
