The company is part of the Andrew Wakely Associates group. We have been providing top quality training to the air transport industry for over a decade. Recognised as specialists in training staff in the skills required for today's aviation operations environment, we provide:

• Distance Learning courses through AVTECH 2000 cover the globe, we have clients in 34 countries covering all continents.
• Classroom based training through the parent company ANDREW WAKELY ASSOCIATES. This takes place across the UK and elsewhere at locations that are convenient to our customers.

Andrew Wakely is the Director of Avtech 2000 and the course tutor and (mainly) author of the courses. He has been teaching these and related courses for the last twenty years. Prior to this he was employed by a major international UK airline, in the Operations Training department.This work involved teaching all over the world. He is an external verifier for UK based NVQs in airline operations and holds a CAA approval for Dangerous Goods training.

Pat Wakely is the administrator for Avtech2000 and looks after students work and records as well as all the accounts. She has a wealth of airline experience much of it in training, and experience in business administration. Pat is also a trained counsellor

We have a team of experienced specialist support staff to help ensure delivery of a high quality product.

We are an approved City & Guilds examination centre and students may sit their examinations under our approval.

Our office is located on the borders of Kent and Sussex, but examinations are taken at specialised accommodation near Gatwick Airport, with its rail and air connections. The motorway exit from the M23 is also near by.
